if you guys have not yet heard this band, what are you waiting for?!

their new album, hands, was released a couple weeks ago and is so good! they've been getting some great press, here is an article from the wall street journal

this band has such a high sierra vibe to them, there is really no reason they should not be out there getting peoples asses shaking on big meadow under the sunshine!

I've seen Stuart Bogie in Antibalas at Great American and Slims, with TV on The Radio at Outside Lands, and Iron and Wine at the Warfield. Based upon those shows (and the Wall St Journal review) I bought the new Superhuman Happiness record and it's about what I expected.

A party. They'd be a welcome addition to this years line-up.

BUT

I would assume that they are touring elsewhere during this period because HSMF would definitely have them on their radar.

The ball is in High Sierra's court. The festival is aware of Superhuman Happiness, and the band clearly wants to play the festival (see above post from them). Just waiting on their invitation.....make it happen, HSMF folks!

Well I know they are on Another Planet's list for Outside Lands this year so maybe there is some reason for no HSMF.
